Einstein - Sharing is fun!Back in the Olden Days, when the internet was new…and email was still in its infancy, I was the guy who was sending funny stuff to his friends. I loved doing it, and at one point, I had several hundred people who had contacted me and asked to be put on the list to receive any new mailings. And when I started building web sites, one of my first was a site to share clean humor called Made Me Laugh (which is still around all these years later…and better than ever). Why “clean” humor? Well, it’s pretty easy to find raunchy humor all over the web. I wanted to create a resource that was, for the most part, OK for mixed company and stuff you wouldn’t mind sharing with your grandma.

But, of course, it’s fun to share other kinds of things, too. For example, great video clips. So, sometime last year, I launched The Web’s Best Video Clips - Videos With A Brain. It features a lot of different categories of interest, and hundreds of great vids…a terrific way to waste a bunch of time, and find a bunch of things worth sharing with your friends. The video clips aren’t original to me (they come from various video sharing services)…but your chances of finding something that you find interesting are WAY higher there than on the huge video clip repositories like YouTube….which have way more junk than anything else.

And, just this week, I’ve relaunched my blog Clickworthy Links. For the longest time, I’ve wanted a place to just point folks to things that are interesting…whether they’re funny, or scary, or amazing, or whatever. The links may or may not point to something on one of my sites…in most cases, probably not…but you get a quick peek at a preview shot, read my short descriptive blurb, and then click the link to see the real thing.

Stop by each of them when you get a chance and see what you think. If you like them, consider subscribing via RSS feed or email. And, for those of you who enjoy spreading your links and comments around, note that all three sites subscribe to the No NoFollow philosophy. All comments are moderated…so there are no junk comments, but if your comments contribute value to my sites, I certainly don’t mind sharing link love back your way. And, link juice or not, the first two sites already see signficant traffic…so you’re likely to see some clicks from others who find your comments interesting.

En-Joy!
